I just found, and started using Twitter Friendly Links on my blog. What a cool plug in. Instead of using a URL address “generic shortener…like tinyurl.com or is.gd or bit.ly… when you post to Twitter, it shortens your post to YOUR URL, plus a number…
For example, my last post here on the Creative Mouthpiece blog in is.gd is this:
http://is.gd/BpBl (it has no real ‘meaning’ just a bunch of letters really).But my Twitter Friendly Link is : http://www.stugray.com/blog/1358
Yes, its a bit longer because of my longer blog name (something you have to think about), but still…its an actual outside link to my blog from Twitter. Not a third party link.Check out the video for Twitter Friendly Links at WordPress.tv.
